Extraterrestrial
Meteorites are extraterrestrial material that has fallen to Earth from space. Meteorites can be stony, but there are also meteorites made of metal. Tektites are formed by the melting of Earthly material by the impact of a meteorite on Earth. Usually these are glassy because of the heat that is generated by large impacts.
