Rough Minerals

Natural rough minerals come in many types and in just as many colours. Some have recognisable large crystals such as the purple Amethyst.
Polished Minerals

In ancient times, stones were already polished by humans. This is still done today. The so-called tumbled stones are made by polishing rough minerals in steps with increasingly fine grinding powder in a rotating drum. The flat polished stones are polished by hand. Flat agate slices are first cut into slices with a diamond saw.
Elements Periodic Table

The Periodic Table of Elements is a table of all known chemical elements. The elements are arranged by ascending atomic number. We try to offer as many stable elements as possible here. However, some elements are not stable enough or too dangerous due to, for example, radioactivity. Some elements at the end of the table with high atomic numbers do not even occur in nature, but can only be made in laboratories.
Artificial Minerals

Some minerals are artificially created by humans. That is not always bad, because in artificial Bismuth crystals, for example, the crystal structure can be studied much better than in the natural variants. Sometimes minerals are also dyed. That happens, for example, with Agates that are made purple, blue or bright green. We are absolutely not in favor of that, and you will not find them here.
